AKEMI Stain Repellent

Field of Application:
 
AKEMI Stain Repellent is used for water-, grease- and oil repellent treatment of mineral building material, e.g. natural and cast stones (polished ground or rough surfaces).
 
The product has the following characteristics:
  • reduction of water and dirt absorption during periods of moisture
  • oil- and grease repellent effect
  • strong adherence-reducing effect in the worked stonesurface
  • maintenance of breathing ability of the stone 
  • resistance to against UV radiation
  • low or medium adhesion of colours on treated stone surface
      
Special fields of application:
  • kitchen claddings and countertops
  • marble wall- and floor claddings of the bathroom
  • stone tables and moulders
  • facades
 
On impregnated stone surfaces spots can be occured, caused by durable useage of aggressive products, s.a. juice, vinegar, alcohol or cosmetics. This deformation is by far lower comparing to the untreated surface. Spots can be avoided by immediately removing those aggressive products.

AKEMI Stone Polisher – Silicone Based

Field of Application:
 
AKEMI Stone Polisher is suited to care of closed, natural and high gloss cast stone surfaces, s.a. marble, granite, quartzite and terrazzo applicable for indoor and outdoor.
 
AKEMI Stone Polisher is a care product made of reactive silicone oils with lubricants and polishing agents. The product reacts with air humidity and thus it can develop a resistant surface protection. It is resistible against weathering and yellowing, making the surface breathe and therefore it is well suited for outdoor use. Stone Polisher does not change the colour of the stone surface, it makes stain-resistant and easier to care. The polishing material allows to remove scratches and dirt from sensitive surfaces.

AKEMI Stone Polisher – Wax Based

Field of Application:
 
AKEMI Stone Polisher is suited to care of fine-ground, polished, absorbent and non-absorbent natural and cast stones, s.a. marble, granite, terrazzo for indoor use. In case of porous, absorbent surfaces it is necessary to apply the product several times in order to achieve brilliance.
 
Akemi Stone Polisher is a superior, polymer-strengthened wax emulsion which is free from solvents with a pleasant smell. The treated areas has a brilliant, but also anti-slippery surface and their colour is more or less intensified.

AKEMI Mild Stone Soap

Field of Application:
 
AKEMI Mild Stone Soap is good for daily care of smooth and rough, absorbent and non-absorbent, untreated, impregnated or sealed natural and cast stone floors, s.a. marble, granite, terrazzo. The product does not contain any waxes, polymers or lustring materials, it does not result in a film or residue on the surface of the stone. Due to regular application the structure and colour of the stone will become more intensive.
 
AKEMI Mild Stone Soap is a special product made of natural agents, non-ionic surfactants, auxiliary materials and odoriferous substances and it is free from phosphates, bases, waxes and polymers. The surfactants contained are biodegradable in correspondence with the legal regulations for surfactants.

AKEMI Stone Impregnation

Field of Application:
 
AKEMI Stone Impregnation could be used for achieving a water and dirt repellent effect on absorbent mineral substances s.a. natural and cast stone. The treated surface possibly has to be into vertical or into highly slant position. On the horizontal surfaces, like e.g. with water filled containers, the hydrophobic effect can not be achieved. In this cases the hydrostatic pressure of the water exceeds the hydrophob pressure of the impregnation.
 
The product is distinguished by the followings:
  • extreme reduction of water and dirt absorption during periods of moisture
  • Due to moisture, it causes reduced water adoptee and quick water absorption in dry period
  • maintenance of breathing properties because there is no surface layer
  • resistance against UV radiation
  • the colour of the stone does change only in some cases or not at all.
